A NOTE FROM LISA
I ground my coaching and leadership advisory practice in a 35 year global human resources leadership career working with people in organizations across diverse sectors and geographies.
I founded Shine consulting to help leaders and organizations thrive and shine, together. Before Shine, I served as Chief Human Resources Officer of the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation. I have been a trusted advisor and strategic business partner in pharmaceuticals, mining, financial services, academia and philanthropy. I have lived and worked in Chile, Singapore, and on the east coast, midwest and pacific northwest regions of the United States. I have built teams and led people in more than 20 countries, working for Johnson & Johnson, Bristol Myers-Squibb, BHP and CIGNA. I sit on the board of Trustees for my alma mater, Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and am a member of the International Women’s Forum for senior executive women. I received an MBA with Distinction from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. I am a certified Hudson Executive Coach and ICF member. My husband and I have raised two young adult sons and live in our “happy place” in Chincoteague, Virginia.
